Our staff writer Tanner Pierce attended a recent event for Sleep Tight that found him re-enacting the action from the game and boy, is it hilariously dumb.

Sleep Tight finally released this week and we found it to be a generally fun twin-stick shooter that was lacking in content. Props to the fine folks over at We Are Fuzzy, but that’s not what this article is about.

Last month at E3, one of our wonderful staff writers, Tanner Pierce, was able to attend an event for Sleep Tight that found him living out the game in real life. This involved him putting on a cowboy hat and donning a Nerf gun to shoot at people dressed up from monsters from the game. Yeah, it was weird.

Best of all is that the team running this event recorded Tanner’s entire session shooting up these monsters and it’s pretty darn funny to watch back. We’ve compiled some of the footage from this event into a dumb supercut that features some of the fancy boy’s best moments. Please watch it.

You can check this video out below if you’re in need of a good laugh. Don’t be mean to Tanner in the comments though or else he might show up at your house with a cowboy hat and nerf gun ready to blow you away, too.

Oh, and Sleep Tight is out right now on PC and Switch in case you were curious.
