Following yesterday's announcement of the Onimusha: Warlords HD Remaster, the Japanese branch of Capcom followed up with its own press release, which included a ton of new screenshots.

Among the screenshots, we also get to see the difference between the original aspect ratio and the new 16:9. On top of that, the camera will automatically move according to the player's movement in order to make sure that the whole background is displayed.

Japan is also getting two special editions. The first, priced at 5,990 yen plus taxes, will include a soundtrack CD and wall scroll. This will be basically the day one edition, at no additional cost. The e-Capcom Special Edition will come with a Demon's Bangle and two mini-illustrations for 17,490 yen plus taxes. Incidentally, Japan gets the game earlier than the west, on December 20th, but only for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

The western release will come on January 15th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
