Capcom has had so many amazing franchises throughout the years that it is difficult for all of them to survive the test of time. While iconic survival horror title Resident Evil 2 is set to conquer the world again in an entirely new iteration, other series such as Final Fight have all but fallen off the face of the Earth. Luckily, one of yesteryear's heavy hitters has just resurfaced for a new generation; Onimusha: Warlords.

Onimusha Warlords is similar to Resident Evil in many ways with its fixed camera angles and intoxicating atmosphere; but instead of being a zombie-laden modern tale, it's instead an action orientated samurai story.

The latest trailer shows just how much the HD port stands head an shoulders above its original PS2 counterpart. Seeing the two titles side by side shows the wear and tear that the original's graphics have endured across almost two decades alongside the crisp clear look sported by the latest release.

We also get to see the game in action as Samanosuke fluidly outplays his foes thanks to a new feature that allows players to use the analog stick to control him.

Onimusha: Warlords is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our full review to see how this samurai classic holds up in 2019.
