Ooblets Heading to Early Access on Epic Games Store and Xbox Game Preview This Summer

This game looks adorably weird.

With E3 2020 having been cancelled thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, PC Gamer held its own live stream to announce a number of games. One of the first games to be shown was Ooblets.

Announced during the PC Gaming Show 2020 was the news that the game would be heading to Early Access through the Epic Games Store and also through Xbox Game Preview. This will be available “before summers end”.

Ooblets is an upcoming weird, colorful title from Glumberland which back in 2017 showed off some gameplay and is a game in which players have a farm of weird Ooblets, strange creatures that seem to do wacky, zany things while you’re trying to manage them all as well as tend to your farm.

The trailer showed off the fact that you can grow your own crops, sell them in the nearby town, you can level up your Ooblets, get new dance moves for them to perform, take part in dance offs, and explore the world to find new seeds and even more of those weird creatures.

You’ll also be able to customize your character, join a club to get your first baby Ooblet, expand and decorate your home, get to know the residents of Badgetown and even become friends with them.

Throughout the game, there will be daily challenges, badges to earn, and a storyline in which you help the mayor save the town from some questionable forces.

When Ooblets eventually launches, it’ll be available for PC and Xbox One.
