Open Beta Begins for Might & Magic: Duel of Champions

Ubisoft recently announced that the open beta has begun for their online card game, Might & Magic: Duel of Champions. Available now for PC and due to hit the iPad in October, the free-to-play CCG is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec and features hundreds of cards based on the Might & Magic series, as the name suggests. Featuring a hero system, players must amass unit, spell, and fortune cards and build their decks in a way to dispose of their enemy.

I understand why Ubisoft is going free with a project like this, card games that don’t have the recognition of Magic: The Gathering might be hard to sell to gaming fans, especially if money is involved. Hopefully there are enough M&M fans out there looking to check out something new. In that case, you can head  over to the website to sign up for the beta. Trailer is below.
