Operation Supply Drop’s fundraiser Pixel Fireworks has managed to surpass their initial goal of $12,000 by July 4th by raising more than double the amount ($24,736 as of now) with a few days to go.

Operation Supply Drop is an initiative that sends video game care packages to both soldiers deployed to combat zones and recovering in military hospitals. Due to the high demand of the care packages, they started a fundraiser called Pixel Fireworks to help fund the cause.

The fundraiser managed to not only receive support from the gaming community but from other gaming companies such as Valve, Capcom, Ubisoft, Rooster Teeth, Sony, EA, Naughty Dog and many more.
