Operation: TRIBUTE Begins Today in Mass Effect 3 MP

February 22, 2013

BioWare has announced the newest installment of their weekend-long multiplayer events that have been held weekly, Operation: Tribute (I wonder why they decided to stop making those cool logos). This event comes just over a week before the developer will release their two final pieces of major downloadable content for the title. Mass Effect 3: Citadal & Reckoning will expand on the game’s single player and multiplayer portions, respectively. These final pieces of DLC will effectively be the very last time we can expect to get any content that is centered primarily around Shepard.

Until the DLC launches, however, have fun shooting each other in multiplayer. The event will run from today until Sunday, the 24th of February. The details are listed below:

Event Description: A surprise Reaper assault inflicted deeply-felt casualties on our N7 teams and interrupted supply lines to several worlds. Many units will have to rely on standard-issue sidearms and munitions. We must honor and avenge our comrades who fell – and let the Reapers know this was a mistake, not a victory.

Individual Goal: Two objectives are required:

1)      Earn 50,000 points using the M-8 Avenger.

2)      Earn 50,000 points using Inferno Grenades.
