Ori and the Will of the Wisps developer Moon Studio took some time today to spell out the updates coming for the next-gen version of the game. Players on Xbox Series X/S can expect a cornucopia of performance boosts. Plus, the team has spent some time on the PC version to provide players with new improvements there. Check it all out below.

Early on, Ori‘s sequel had a few technical hiccups, but they’ve mostly sorted them out by now. With those fixes mostly out of the way, it’s awesome to see them focusing on making this game look as beautiful as possible. The Xbox Series X version of Ori and the Will of the Wisps supports 4K HDR with the framerate locked at 120 FPS. It also, of course, brings faster loading times and boasts instant input responses.

On the Series S, players will have to play at 1080p if they want that silky smooth 120 FPS. However, you can bump it up to 4K if you’re willing to drop to 60 FPS. Otherwise, the two consoles are essentially getting the same upgrades.

The update doesn’t stop there. Moon Studios has also taken the time to improve Ori and the Will of the Wisps across the versions. You can read the full notes on the developer’s site. Just know that they’ve put in a ton of work to make this great game shine regardless of where you play.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One. It comes to Xbox Series X/S on November 10.
