Original Composers of Unreal Tournament May Return for Newest Title

Michiel van den Bos and Alexander Brandon served as the two main composers for the original Unreal and Unreal Tournament titles, and may be returning for Epic Games’s newest title.

In a post on the Unreal Engine’s forum, Michiel Van Den Bos outlined his interest in the game, something fueled partially by fans asking him to return.

I’m writing here because I was getting messages and e-mails telling me I should, due to the announcement of the new UT.

I was wondering if there is any interest in me getting involved and I’m sure I can get Alex to join in too.

In the same thread, Unreal Engine developer Steven Polge later stated that Epic Games would be “thrilled” to have the two composers back.

While nothing is concrete yet, both parties seem to be interested in working together, so fans may well be playing the newest Unreal Tournament with Michiel and Alexander’s tracks playing.

Unreal Tournament is set to be released later this year on PC, Mac and Linux
