Othercide Will Be Launched on July 28, Check Out the New Trailer

Focus Home Interactive and Lightbulb Crew revealed the release date for Othercide with a brand new trailer.

This year is going to be a memorable one for isometric tactical RPG fans with some amazing games already launched and some promising ones on the way to arrive in August. Hopefully, you can start your tactical RPG tour sooner than expected, with Othercide launching later next month.

The new trailer from Othercide shares more about the game’s story and the journey of Daughters in a dark fantasy world. As the last hope of humanity, you will stand against the demonic creatures originated by the filthiest crimes that humans committed against each other. Controlling the army of Daughters, you will take part in epic battles and fight with various enemies. The more you progress in your journey, the more you learn new skills. Here you can check out the latest trailer from Othercide:

Unlike their previous project, the developers are trying to deliver a narrative-focused title this time around. Throughout your experience in Othercide, you will have to make some tough decisions about your crew, which might end up sacrificing one for reviving the other.

Gameplay-wise, Othercide features turn-based combats with melee weapons, which has its own unique mechanics that we will probably get to know more about in the future. That said, the trailer above gives a little glimpse of the game’s gameplay as well. It’s worth noting that Othercide is a single-player game and there will be no co-op mode included at launch.

Othercide is set to be released on July 28 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is now available for pre-order on Steam with a %15 discount.

Gears Tactics, XCOM: Chimera Squad, and Desperados 3 have been this year’s most praised tactical RPGs so far. It’s yet to be seen whether the new project from Lightbulb Crew and Focus Home Interactive will join the group above or not.
