Oure Announced and Released for PS4 at Paris Games Week; Coming to PC Soon

Indie developer Heavy Spectrum revealed its atmospheric title Oure during the pre-show for Sony's 2017 Paris Games Week Conference.

Today, indie developer Heavy Spectrum announced Oure during the pre-show for Sony’s 2017 Paris Games Week Conference and also revealed that the title will be releasing on PS4 later today. The game will also be coming to PC via Steam at a later date.

In Oure, players control a child that can turn into a dragon and decides to go on a quest to find eight almighty titans that can revive the world. When controlling the dragon, players can soar through the clouds looking for artifacts, while playing as the child means that you will be focusing on solving one of over 100 different puzzles. Gameplay has been labeled “non-violent” by the developer, and everything will be backed by an orchestral soundtrack.

The title certainly evokes the same feeling as other atmospheric and emotional games like Journey, so Oure seems to be an interesting addition to the PS4’s huge indie game lineup. Oure has a relatively small file size, taking up only 3GB, so it may be worth checking out if you are interested and have the free memory space on your PS4.

You can check out the reveal trailer and some screenshots for the title below. Oure will launch later today on PS4 and will release soon on PC.
