Outlast has gotten quite the attention for its scary scenarios and frights of wandering in an abandoned asylum and trying to seek out an escape: luckily, the wait to experience Red Barrel Games' horror game will not have to be too much longer.

According to the most recent entry of the PlayStation Blogcast, the survival-horror/asylum-exploration title Outlast will be hitting on PSN this coming week, after previously confirming that the game would be hitting in Europe on February 5th. While an exact release date hasn't been exactly confirmed for the game's release in North America, the latest episode seems to confirm that the game will be arriving this week while discussing the new releases, the game anticipating its launch for PS4 in the next few days, most likely on February 4th with the usual PSN update every Tuesday.

You can expect for Outlast to arrive sometime this week on PS4, with the game having also been announced as part of the Instant Game Collection line-up for PlayStation Plus in February, alongside other titles like Remember MeModnation Racers, and Street Fighter X Tekken. Scared yet?
