" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PCF announced today that they're pushing the release date back a month. You might be concerned that the new April 1 released date is some cruel prank, but I assure you, it's real. Give the announcement a look below.

Hopefully, the Outriders delay gives the team the time they need. I'm sure many fans are a little gun-shy after everything that went down with Cyberpunk 2077 recently. Of course, Outriders doesn't look as ambitious as CD Projekt Red's latest, but it's still hard to shake that feeling.

For what it's worth, I've previewed Outriders several times already and had a blast each time. That said, I'm more than willing to give them extra time to get everything straightened out. Plus, this delay means that we're getting a demo ahead of release. Starting February 25, you'll be able to hop in and try out each of the four classes for a few hours. And, any progress you make carries over to the main game.

So, while the delay does stink for those of us looking forward to Outriders' release, it's not really bad news. More than likely, the full release will be better because of this delay. Or, at least, that's what I always tell myself.

Outriders is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on April 1. The demo goes live on February 25 if you want to check it out before dropping your hard-earned cash on it.
