If like us, you want to jump into Outriders the second it becomes available then you’ll want to know how to preload the game on Xbox Game Pass. So, we’ve put together everything you need to know about Outriders on Game Pass.

If you’ve already pre-ordered Outriders for Xbox and you’ve just realised you can grab it for free on Game Pass, the developers have already stated in a Reddit thread that you can cancel your pre-order with no hassle.

Outriders Release Date

After putting a ridiculous amount of hours into the Outriders Demo, players will be able to do it all over again from April 1 when Outriders gets its official launch on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Google Stadia.

And no, it’s not an April Fools joke, it’s actually releasing.

How To Preload Outriders On Xbox Game Pass

If you’re wondering how you can preload the game through Xbox Game Pass, there is a way!

All you need to do is download the official Xbox Mobile App, sign in to your account and search for Outriders. Once you’ve found the game, you’ll be able to select download and the game will begin preloading to your linked console.

Unfortunately, Outriders is only available for the console version of Xbox Game Pass, and not the PC version.

The preload of Outriders is expected to be anywhere between 47GB and 60GB depending on what exact Xbox you’re using. There will also be a day one patch of 24GB, so you’ll want to at least get the game downloaded and ready to go!
