Originally, Outriders is set to be released in Holiday 2020, meaning it should be dropped sometime between October and December, however, the Steam page of the game reveals that it is coming in February 2nd next year.

If the release date turns out to be true, we would probably get a development update from People Can Fly regarding a possible delay in Outriders' launch. However, it could also mean that the PC version of the game would face a delay in launch.

Last year during Square Enix's E3 press conference, People Can Fly officially revealed their next project. Outriders is a third-person shooter set in a far future on an alien planet, where a mysterious signal sounds to be the last hope of humanity for surviving. As one of the adventurers seeking the source of the signal, you will face a hostile alien race dominating the planet.

In the case of gameplay, Outriders offers a drop-in/drop-out co-op experience where up to three players can team-up and fight against the aliens. Four different character classes are available to build your own protagonist with skills that fit into your combat style. Each one of the Pyromancer, Technomancer, Devastator, and Trickster classes provides some unique abilities to estroy enemy units.

As a Pyromancer, you will get access to some mid-range weapons. Thermal Bombs and Slow Traps are two primary skills of a Pyromancer. On the other hand, if you would like to take down your enemies quietly, choosing a Trickster will aid you to move quickly and benefit from some tricky abilities. If you'd prefer to open a heavy fire against the aliens, probably you should go on with Technomancer, mastered in using heavy weapons. Finally, the Devastator class uses some supernatural waves of energy to hunt the aliens, while have the ability to heal crew members.

Outriders will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
