Over 600 Screenshots and Artwork for Kid Icarus: Uprising Released

Nintendo of Europe released a large (and I mean it) batch of screenshots of Kid Icarus: Uprising, that will be released in the west on march the 23rd.

They also revealed a few interesting details on the gameplay, like the ability to use the Fiend’s Cauldron to bet your hearts and raise the difficulty (and the reward) of battles and the multiplayer modes.

Players will be able to chose the “nearby” option for local multiplayer or the “far away” option for online.

In the Free-for-All mode up to six players will face off in a battle royale where everyone will fight everyone else after chosing their favorite weapons and powers. Defeating someone with a higher value weapon will net more points.

In the Light vs. Dark mode two teams of three players each will fight against each other. Whenever a player will be defeated his team’s gauge will decrease. The last player to get killed will turn into a powerful angel. Defeating the enemy angel will determine a team’s victory.

You can check out the titan-sized gallery of screenshots and artwork below. I had to use flickr because the screenshots are so numerous that they crash our own gallery. Fun times.
