Override: Mech City Brawl Showcases Intense Mecha Action in New Features Trailer

Fledgling publisher Modus Games and The Balance Inc. released a features trailer Override: Mech City Brawl today highlighting customization and story.

After releasing Extinction earlier this year, new publisher Modus Games has been releasing several new titles. The most notable upcoming title within the studio’s current lineup is Override: Mech City Brawl, a 3D mecha fighting game from The Balance Inc. announced back in July. Today, a new features trailer was released for the title, and it gives us a better idea of what to expect from the game.

Override: Mech City Brawl features 12 playable mechs who fight each other around the world. While the game features the typical free-for-all and 1v1 multiplayer modes one would come to expect from a game like this online and offline, Override: Mech City Brawl also allows several players to team up in order to control one mech. If you want to live out your dream of piloting a Zord from Power Rangers, Override: Mech City Brawl is your best chance to do so in a game this year.

That being said, the focal points of this trailer are the garage, where players can customize their mechs and the single-player campaign. As players progress through the game, they will obtain various mech skins of differing rarity and style. There are also some weird accessories, so if your aforementioned Zord fantasy features a mech wearing a top hot or duck floaty, you’re (surprisingly) in luck. Override’s story pits the playable mechs against invading aliens, which should keep things fresh, especially for action game fans.

You can check out the new features trailer below. Override: Mech City Brawl is currently set to hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 4. If you want to get the physical Super Charged Mega Edition, it is currently available to pre-order on Amazon.
