The very first closed beta test for Overwatch 2 is set to kick off later this week and fans are eager to find out how and when they can get in on the action.

Unfortunately for console fans, the upcoming Overwatch 2 PVP Beta will only be available on PC and only a select few members of the community will be chosen to play. But, it's not all bad news, if you're a PC gamer and want to sign up for the beta, there's still time to do so.

Overwatch 2 PVP Beta Release Date, Start Time & Duration Details

The official release date for the first Overwatch 2 PVP Closed Beta is Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. According to the official Overwatch Twitter account, the start time for the beta is 11AM PT / 2PM ET / 7PM BST.

According to a Community Manager for Overwatch 2, the upcoming Beta test will last "longer than a weekend", but an official end date has yet to be confirmed by the developers.

How To Sign Up & Play The Overwatch 2 PVP Beta

If you want to sign up and play in the upcoming closed beta, simply visit the official Overwatch website, select 'Sign Up Now' and enter your Battle Net account details for a chance of participating.

According to the developers, participants will be chosen based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) your Battle.net region, when you signed up, and your computer hardware specifications. If you are chosen to take part in the beta, you will receive an email with further details.
