Overwatch League team New York Excelsior defeat the Philadelphia Fusion in the Stage 2 Finals.

At the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles, the London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion squared off to see who would face NYXL in the Finals. In a surprising turn of events, the Fusion found themselves victorious over the match favorite.

The finals weren't without its own twists and turns. Carpe and crew came out swinging, winning the first two matches of the Finals. However, NYXL came back with a reverse sweep, winning three matches in a row and earning the $100,000 prize. The Philadelphia Fusion received $25,000 as the runner-up.

With Stage 2 out of the picture, stage records will refresh, giving each of the twelve teams another chance at the next stage finals. Overall records are untouched as they determine who will be heading into the playoffs this summer. Currently, the standings show NYXL, London Spitfire, and Seoul Dynasty as the top three teams in the league.

Stage 3 of Overwatch League will commence on Wednesday, April 4, introducing Blizzard World into the map pool.
