Overwatch Adds Pink Mercy Skin; All Proceeds Benefit Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Blizzard Entertainment and Breast Cancer Research Foundation partner to bring the new Pink Mercy skin to Overwatch for $14.99.
Blizzard Entertainment has partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to release a special charity skin for Overwatch‘s winged healer, Mercy. A few videos give you a look at the new skin in action as well as some details about the developer’s partnership with the BCRF.
From now until May 21, you can purchase the Pink Mercy skin for $14.99 in-game or online. All proceeds from the legendary skin will go to the BCRF to help find a cure.
There are a few other ways to show your support. First, there is a new, limited-edition Pink Mercy shirt available on the Blizzard Gear Store for $30. Similarly to the Pink Mercy skin, all sales will go to the BCRF.
You’ll also be able to earn a variety of BCRF themed in-game sprays and player icons. All you’ll have to do is log into the game or watch between 2 to 6 hours of participating charity streams. In order to receive the rewards, you will have to link your Twitch account to your Blizzard account. These streams will start today and go until May 21.
Overwatch is available right now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pick the game up on Amazon right now and play as Pink Mercy today.
