Kris, Swon, and BQB Sign to Overwatch Team The Florida Mayhem

The Florida Mayhem bulks up its roster ahead of the 2019 Overwatch League with the addition of professional players BQB, Swon, and Kris.

More news trickles through regarding the upcoming 2019 Overwatch League. Alongside the recent announcement that Vancouver’s side will be collaborating with Luminosity for the season ahead, The Florida Mayhem has also revealed three new additions to its roster.

Announced via the team’s official Twitter page Overwatch players Kris, BQB, and Swon will be joining the squad. Sang-Bum “BQB” Lee makes his return to competitive Overwatch following being fined back in May for the promotion of boosting services during his time as part of X6-Gaming.  Sang-Won”Swon” Yoon was previously a member of NRG eSports before joining forces with The Florida Mayhem. The final addition the roster is Jun-Soo “Kris” Choi who is known for his work with Meta Athena in 2016. The three players are still awaiting approval for the Overwatch League.

The Florida Mayhem was one of the twelve teams competing in the Overwatch Inaugural Season. However, the competition promises to be stiffer this time around as the 2019 Overwatch League will see a whopping 20 teams participating.

Overwatch is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game can be purchased from Amazon.
