Overwatch Update 3.20 Patch Notes Today October 27

Here are the patch notes of the latest Overwatch update.

While Blizzard frequently releases a number of updates for Overwatch from time to time, this one is a bit unique and quite different from the others.

This update has a plethora of bug fixes, but the most notable change of all is the change of McCree’s name to Cole Cassidy. If you are unaware, Blizzard has been under a number of lawsuits lately, due to an array of reasons. One of the developers of the game was sacked, and Blizzard decided to remove any references to the developers. That has led to this name change, and McCree will now be known as Cassidy.   • Introduction of new hero name

BUG FIXES

General

  • Fixed a bug that caused players to not receive full credit towards matches played when playing Junkenstein’s Revenge

Heroes

Brigitte

  • Fixed a bug that caused her mace chain to appear as the wrong color in highlight and emotes if the Vampire Hunter skin is equipped

D.Va

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Black Cat skin to have a missing decal on the golden gun

Mercy

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Valkyrie ultimate ability outro sound to not play properly in both first and third person

Soldier: 76

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Grillmaster highlight intro to be unavailable
