Overwatch Uprising Event Will Come Back in April
The Overwatch Uprising seasonal event will return once again next month to give players a chance to earn new skins and uncover some character backstory.
Since its debut, Overwatch has brought players back into the fold regularly through a series of limited time events, and now the Overwatch Uprising event will seemingly make its way back into the game in time for spring.
Over on the game’s official Twitter page, developer Blizzard Entertainment released a new teaser that indicates that the Uprising event will return to the game on April 10th, 2018, almost one year after it first debuted in-game.
Like last year’s event, players can expect some kind of new mode alongside a bevy of new skins, emotes, and more collectible items to unlock, while also getting a chance to experience a bit more of the backstory behind the game’s set of characters and their history together.
As the teaser indicates, hopefully we’ll get some more new details on the characters compared to last year’s event, as the teaser indicates that several “declassified” records will be unveiled on April 10th when (presumably) the event will go live across consoles and PC.
Overwatch is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In the meantime, you can check out the teaser from Blizzard below:
