Overwatch players know the struggle: having unlocked a new skin and forgetting to equip it before your next game. Everyone knows fashion directly relates to performance, but luckily, you won't have to worry about throwing your next game. Overwatch is now letting its players change their character's skin before each match.

The announcement came via Twitter, where the official Overwatch account posted a GIF of a Pharah swapping between skins as the lobby timer ticked down. You can check that out below.

While it may not seem like a significant update, for fans of the games who have accumulated tons of timed skins, this change will impact the way they play the game–literally.

No more accidentally swapping off of your legendary and epic skins and then throwing the match because you don't feel as beautiful. That fear of getting the play of the game without your favorite skin on can now disappear forever.

This update will now bring the game more in line with other Esports titles like League of Legends and Smite, which allow players to select their skin up until the match begins, and perhaps, will allow players to even improve their team fashion by locking in similar skins with one another.
