Ever since the Switch version of Oxenfree was announced back in August, fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the hit indie title title: well, they won’t have to wait much longer. Independent developer Night School Studio announced that the Nintendo Switch version of its popular game Oxenfree will be available starting on October 6, 2017.

In addition to the announcement of the release date, a brand new trailer, which shows off one of our first looks at the Nintendo Switch version of the game, was also released via Night School Studio’s official Twitter account.

While no Nintendo Switch exclusive features have been announced, unlike a lot of ports nowadays, the game will be playable with just the touchscreen.

Oxenfree was originally released on January 15, 2016, and is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Linux, OS X, Android, and iOS devices. Currently, the game is a part of September’s Games with Gold lineup, meaning if you have an Xbox Live Gold account, you’ll be able to download the title completely free of charge until October 15, 2017. A price for the Switch version has not yet been announced.
