Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch with the title Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus.

The game will release only in digital form on February 22nd, 2018.

It will include a Switch-exclusive two-player co-op mode in which two players can share the Joy-Con controllers to play the game together. When one player gets captured by a ghost, the other will be able to rescue him. This mode won't be distributed to those who already purchased the game on other platforms, so if you want it, you'll need to grab it for the Switch.

Alongside the announcement, we also get the first screenshots, that you can enjoy in the gallery below together with the key art.

This is certainly a nicely fitting game to the line-up of the Nintendo Switch. The title was originally released in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. If you're not familiar with it, you can read our original review.
