Pandora's Tower Screens Make Me Hug My Wii

By Chad Awkerman

Yes, my Wii has been collecting dust. WHEN WILL NINTENDO LOCALIZE MY RPGS?! Ahem, sorry, got a bit carried away there. I would like you all to know that I have just hugged my Wii after viewing these screens of the upcoming RPG Pandora’s Tower. Why? Because they look freaking amazing, that’s why.

I get a big kick out of the one shot of Ceres holding up a piece of what I can only assume is beast flesh (which is what she needs to neutralize a curse that was put on her). Her expression says it all: “Do I really have to eat this hunk of tasty meat?” Yes, yes you do. (I don’t know if she must eat the flesh or not, but that wouldn’t be as humorous, so give me a break!) Please note also that there are several shots from what I can only assume are battles, as well as some mighty fine box art which will never, ever see the light of day over here, unfortunately.

At this point, I don’t really care if the box art has a big smiley face on it – I just want Nintendo to get their collective rear-end in gear and localize some of these great RPGs, including this one.  Pandora’s Tower will be #3 on my “I’ll make babies with Pikachu if they would just localize it” list. Don’t judge me. Screens are after the break.
