According to Ashtree Works KickStarter page, the company has decided to delay Paradise Lost: First Contact to mid-2015 (it was slated to release this year).
As explained, the delay is due to the team remaking 80% of the game’s animations in hopes of achieving,
Balanced core mechanics that could evolve naturally within the player’s experience and type of play. The requires tons of hours of testing and repeating/changing puzzles and situations constanlty…we have areas with endless possibilities to go through.
Paradise Lost: First Contact is expected to release for PC, Mac, Linux, and Wii U.
