Paradox Becomes a Collective, Releases Three Game Collections

Note: I have no idea what I meant by that title, it just sounded cool.  That said, Paradox Interactive, the studio behind such games as Magicka,  Hearts of Iron III and Cities in Motion are releasing collections for Magicka,  Hearts of Iron III and Cities in Motion.  This is awesome news, especially for those of you who have yet to pick up the hilarious game known as Magicka, starring you as a wizard, and your teacher, Vlad, who most certainly is not a Vampire.  For details on all three collections, including what they contain, press the “Continue Reading” link that follows this sentence.

We’ll start with the Magicka collection.  This collection will cost you $19.99, and includes Magicka, the Magicka Vietnam expansion and several of the DLC packs for Magicka: The Survival Kit, Caverns and Marshlands, Nippon, Final Frontier, Frozen Lake, Watch Tower and Robe DLC Bundles.  All in all, this is a pretty great value, and well worth the $20, as everyone should at least try the game.  That said, make sure to check that you can run the game first.

The next bundle of fun is Hearts of Iron III.  This collection, which will let you lead one of 100 different countries between the years 1936 and 1948,  will run you $29.99.  The bundle will include Hearts of Iron III, the Hearts of Iron III Semper Fi expansion, the Hearts of Iron III For the Motherland expansion and the complete Hearts of Iron III Spritepack (which includes German, US, Soviet, German Infantry, Japanese Infantry, Soviet Infantry, Soviet Music, German II, MegaGerman).  This is a game, that while I have never played it, always seemed interesing, with its seemingly contradictory combination of both historical accuracy and player choice.

The final collection is for Cities in Motion.  This bundle spans 100 years worth of transportation in some of the worlds most notable cities and more than 30 different vehicles.  The collection will run you $39.99.  It includes Cities in Motion, the Cities in Motion Tokyo expansion, the Cities in Motion German Cities expansion and finally the Cities in Motion DLC packs, including Design Classics, Design Marvels, Design Now and Metro Station.  In addition to the campaign mode, you can also sandbox this game or create your own cities with which to put in motion.

So all in all some pretty cool bundles from the guys at Paradox.
