Paradox Interactive Plans to Shift From Private to Public This Year

on March 7, 2016 6:57 PM

According to a tweet from chief Fredrik Wester of Paradox Interactive, as well as an interview in Swedish, the studio plans on going public by the end of this year:

This news comes after Paradox payed cash to acquire White Wolf Publishing from CCP (creator of EVE Online) late last year. The shift from private to public would help the company regain funds spent on that aforementioned venture.

According to the interview, Paradox is interested in more acquisitions as well as moving into the mobile and console game publishing.
