Video game publisher Paradox Interactive acquired White Wolf Publishing back in 2015, and with it came a variety of notable IPs including World of Darkness and Vampire: The Masquerade. With almost three years having passed since then, many are wondering when Paradox will be releasing or publishing titles based on these IP.

During a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Fredrik Wester, the company's CEO, reassured fans that games based on the famous White Wolf Publishing titles are still in the pipeline, even if not much has been officially unveiled yet. Of course, game development is a lengthy process, and Fredrik confirmed in the same interview that Paradox Interactive is taking steps to make sure all the games they put out are of high quality, even after he steps down next week.

According to Fredrik, Paradox "bought White Wolf because we believed it had a great set of IPs that could be used for a multitude of different kinds of RPGs," so people won't have to worry about games based on their properties not being role-playing games. That being said, he also said that "anything can be shutdown before it reaches alpha if it doesn't match the quality level."

Fortunately, Fredrik did confirm that some games are further along in development, and that Paradox Interactive is aiming for them to be of really high quality:

"We have the White Wolf catalog of games. There are a couple of projects that are at more than an experimental level right now. People ask us why it's taking such a long time to do anything with the White Wolf stuff. And, well, we want to do things the proper way this time... We've released crappy games in the past, many years ago. I know how it is to release buggy, unfinished games. I don't want to do that anymore."

DualShockers will be sure to let you know when Paradox Interactive decides to unveil new game based on a White Wolf Publishing IP.
