Epic Games have released some more information regarding the major update that will be coming to Paragon on August 8, 2017. Today the studio went into a little more detail on what their plans are for the gameplay rebalance when update v42 launches in two weeks.

Over the last few weeks Epic Games have been giving out more information little by little on the future of Paragon and the changes coming to it when update v42 launches in two weeks. A few days ago they revealed the changes that are coming to the card system and in game itemization system which should hopefully shift playstyle to focus more on gameplay rather than numbers.

Today, the development team has given a small update on the rebalance that is coming to Paragon. The team states that as soon as you launch a match when update v42 goes live, you should immediately feel a smoother game. They are doing this by increasing the attack speed and reducing the ability cooldowns for nearly all heroes across the board. In addition to this tweak, the stat values of all heroes will also receive a small change.

Paragon is currently in open beta as a free-to-play title on both PC and PS4. Epic Games plans to remove the game from beta in early 2018.
