Epic Games released its Mid Year Update today for its third person MOBA Paragon. In the update, Epic gives us some pretty nice stats surrounding their accomplishments this year and also lay out their plans for Paragon, both short term and long term. Last week the studio released a new Community Corner video, which can be seen below, where they go into detail on the huge update coming next month to Paragon.

So far this year Epic Games have reached 7.3 million registered players, released eight new heroes, shipped 24 updates since February. They have also introduced banners, new daily/weekly/monthly rewards and more. The studio is not finished though and they have a lot of work to do moving forward as they want to drop the 'beta' tag from Paragon in early 2018.

Looking forward, the team will be releasing a massive update next month that will completely change the card system and in game economy. Alongside the changes coming to Paragon next month, the studio will also be working on over a dozen hero reworks, matchmaking 2.0, new minions and jungle monsters, and a HUD overhaul. Lastly, the studio will be working on character voiceovers, in game voice communications and the long awaited competitive play mode.

Paragon is currently available as a free to play title in open beta on PS4 and PC. The game features cross platform play allowing for an even larger player base.
