Code Avarice's Paranautical Activity will be launching next week and bringing the retro-looking shooter title to the Nintendo Switch platform thanks to Stage Clear Studios' console porting and publisher Digerati Digital. The title has previously been launched for PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita, and WiiU.

Players will find themselves in procedurally generated arenas and with fast Quake-like gameplay and inspired by Roguelikes such as Binding of Isaac or Spelunky. Over one-hundred items are available in the title and there are over forty enemies to face as well as bosses, both in the normal levels and also hidden levels all to the soundtrack of a dub-step soundtrack.

Digerati Digital scooped up the rights to the game a few years ago and brought the title to Steam in 2015 as the Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition. We reviewed the title you can read that here.

Paranautical Activity will launch on Nintendo Switch on the 26th June, 2018. Those in Europe can pre-order the title from the eShop with a 20% discount.
