Berlin-based indie developer Phantom 8 has recently announced that pre-orders for its stealth action title Past Cure are now available in the UK, in the US, and in Canada ahead of its February release date. However, to better prepare players for what to expect in Past Cure, the team has released the first of two videos taking us through the core gameplay.

In the first gameplay walkthrough video, we hear the game's Animation Artist Nick Mallinder discuss the nature of the game's stealth system. As a result of the experiments that protagonist Ian underwent, he has control of supernatural abilities, which make seemingly impossible things possible, such as disabling security cameras without a sound.

Of course, if you want to take the more straight-forward approach to a room, Ian has more than simply his guns at his disposal to clear a room. His melee moves have been captured by motion capturing MMA fighters, but his abilities range far further than specialist training. Manipulating the environment's time may be just the edge you need to dodge bullets (yes, you can dodge bullets) or pull off a spectacular headshot.

Past Cure will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 2, 2018. The game will run $29.99 upon release. For more information on the game, we encourage you to pour over the DualShockers preview of it. You can also visit the game's official website for even more.
