A small update has been deployed for Injustice 2 today (September 6) after the popular fighting game experienced some serious server issues.

Thankfully, the developers have been working hard to resolve the issues and many players are now reporting that the Injustice 2 servers are slowly coming back online on certain platforms.

Are The Injustice 2 Servers Down Today?

September 3rd marked the beginning of the Injustice 2 server issues, as the developers made players aware when they tweeted:

"We are aware of the crashing issues in Injustice 2 on multiple platforms and are looking into the issue. Thank you for your patience."

A few hours later fans were then made notified that there would be some extended downtime whilst the developers got to the bottom of the issue. Then on September 5th, another update came from the developers when they tweeted the following:

Fast forward to today, September 6, and it appears that issues are slowly being resolved for some players as a new Injustice 2 update begins being deployed.

Injustice 2 - 1.21 Update and Patch Notes

On September 6, a small update was deployed for Injustice 2, with some players reporting that it solves the server issues.

As of writing, no official patch notes have been released for the update. But, according to Attack Of The Fan Boy, the PS4 update history simply states that the update is for 'Bug Fixes'.

Many players on Reddit are still reporting that the Injustice 2 servers are yet to come back online on Steam and for those who own the Legendary Edition. We will update this article with more information as soon as it becomes available.
