Pathea’s Planet Explorers Is Minecraft In Space

on March 27, 2013 12:18 PM

Pathea’s Planet Explorers is an open world voxel-based sandbox adventure RPG, that tasks players with exploring a new world while creating new objects, buildings and vehicles however you want, much like Minecraft. Unlike Minecraft and other such games, the voxel-based design isn’t blocky at all, but offers a smooth texture for both characters and terrain. The game also seeks to offer a Single Player story mode, cooperative and versus multiplayer, and different approaches to enemy encounters.

Pathea has started their campaign to complete the game, adding better music, effects, content, customization, and graphics. You can view the campaign page here, and view the trailers and screenshots below. Planet Explorers is currently available for free in Alpha form on their website. The game is also going through the Greenlight process on Steam, and is hoping to publish to PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
