Duke Nukem Forever, the game people say has taken, well, forever to develop has been announced to be almost ready today by 2K Games and Gearbox. The ever-lasting franchise will be reborn in 2011 with this title to be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC. The first person shooter from the days of old is making its way back with locations such as the Vegas strip, Hoover dam, and more. Most gamers are expecting the same gritty humor and the disgustingly brutal scenes, weapons, and bad mouthing from the popular cult classic franchise.

If you don't believe this game is actually coming out we can't say we blame you, but according to 2K Games it will be here before you know it. There is a playable demo at PAX Prime in Seattle, so at least some people are getting their hands on the title and that shows that progress is being made on bringing it to the public. Hang in there Duke Nukem fans, hope remains.
