As the lead creative behind last year's sensation PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene has been in the spotlight for quite some time as a result of the game's explosive success, and the man himself will be sharing some of that insight at next month's PAX East.

Penny Arcade Expo has announced that Brendan Greene will be addressing the stage at PAX East 2018 by delivering the event's opening keynote speech, where Greene (likely) will share some of his experience working on the phenomenon game and his experiences leading up to its release.

Given the explosive popularity of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and the rise of the Battle Royale genre, it will definitely be interesting to hear from Greene directly at PAX East next month from both his own experiences working in the industry, while also celebrating the accomplishments of the games industry at large in one of the biggest East Coast-based gaming events on the horizon at PAX East.

PAX East 2018 will be taking place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA from April 5th-8th, 2018: stay tuned for updates from the show as DualShockers will be covering the event in just a few weeks with previews, interviews, and much more.
