PAX East takes place later this month in Boston which is where we both AAA and indie developers will show off their latest projects. Showrunner Penny Arcade released the list of developers and publishers who will be in attendance for the convention from February 27 to March 1. Based on the list, there will be well over 300 different exhibitors in attendance. This will likely be the next big wave of announcements and anticipated release dates for upcoming titles this year.

To much surprise, Nintendo will be attending with having little to no upcoming first-party titles outside of Animal Crossing: New Horizons which is set to release in March. Nintendo is a regular to attend PAX East as well as PAX West every year, but it will be interesting to see what they will be bringing with them this time around. PlayStation will also be in attendance as per usual, while Xbox will be noticeably absent. Mixer which is owned by Microsoft will have a booth, but I wouldn't expect to get your hands on any first-party exclusives. The iconic Indie Mega Booth will also make its return where attendees will be able to try out all the hottest upcoming indie titles.

Along with the exhibitor's list attendees can find out when and where all the different panels are taking place throughout the event which myself, Associate Staff Writer Scott White, and Contributor Chris Compendio will take part in. If you are nearby the Boston area and are still considering attending the event badges are still available across the board whether it be four-day, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
