Overkill Software recently dropped a new update for PayDay 2, adding new levels as well as modifications to the VR port of the game.

According to the developer, a new heist added to the core Payday 2 experience requires players to mask up and grab their weapons as they join Locke in rampaging through the streets of New York. On top of that, this new heist adds some holiday-themes into the mix as Locke is providing players some in-game presents to put on before tackling the job.

As far as PayDay 2 VR goes, gameplay for the port has been proved upon. While PayDay 2 VR is still a work in progress is still undergoing the beta testing stages, Overkill Software's latest update for the VR game makes vast improvements in the game, with some of those tweaks being heavily influenced from Bethesda's AAA VR game Fallout 4 VR. With the most prominent change is modifications to the aim-down-sight system, which now triggers automatically when moving the gun sights within your line of sight, allowing precision strikes at your enemies.

A sequel to 2011's PayDay: The Heist, Payday 2 is a co-op first-person shooter developed by Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. Set approximately two years after the events of its predecessor, a new gang criminals arrive to wreck some havoc.
