After undergoing extensive work for quality assurance, Overkill has finally released the full DLC VR add-on for its critically acclaimed title, PAYDAY 2.

According to the developer, PAYDAY 2 VR is available now for those who own an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Although the expansion is free of charge, the VR port of PAYDAY 2 can only be accessed for those that currently own the full game, PAYDAY 2 in their Steam library, which is $44.98. Similar to the vanilla version, PAYDAY 2 allows gamers to become more immersed in the PAYDAY  universe as they rob bank and wreck havoc in town from the comfort of their VR headset. On top of that, PAYDAY 2 VR also includes cross-platform, meaning if you have other friends that own the game on PC but do not own a headset you all get still cause mischief together.

A sequel to 2011’s PayDay: The Heist, Payday 2 is a co-op first-person shooter developed by Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. Set approximately two years after the events of its predecessor featuring the original PAYDAY crew comprised of Chains, Dallas, Hoxton, and Wolf who arrive in Washington DC to raise hell and make some easy cash.

Since 2013, PAYDAY 2 has been ported over to various consoles, including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in mid-2015, with the most recent port launching on the Nintendo Switch late last month.
