Publisher Bethesda have today released a new update for the PC version of The Evil Within, vastly improving support for playing at FPS greater than 30.

The update now adds an official setting to lock the FPS cap at 60, and also removes some issues that were caused when the game ran at more than 30 FPS.

In addition, the patch allows players to toggle the black bars present in the game.

Both of these options have already existed for a while through commands, but this marks an official release of the options.
