Those of you hoping to get your hands on the PC version of the upcoming shooter/RPG Borderlands are going to have a bit longer to wait than your console brethren.  Word comes today from the game’s developer, Gearbox, that the PC version will now be released on October 26, which a six-day push-back.  The reason?  According to 2K, the game’s publisher, Gearbox needs the extra time to “optimize the PC version”, whatever the hell that means.  Don’t have a conniption, though, PC gamers.  You’ve had to wait this long, what’s six extra days?  The release date for both console versions remains unchained at October 20.
