PC/PS4’s Stealth Game Shadwen Dated for May 2016; New Trailer and Screenshots

on April 14, 2016 11:03 AM

It may seem like a strange mix of the ThiefSUPERHOT, and Braid, but Frozenbyte’s upcoming title Shadwen plans to cross time manipulation and classic stealth gameplay. And if that concept seems appealing, players will be able to pick up Shadwen on PC and PlayStation 4 in May 2016.

The game focuses on Shadwen, an assassin, and Lily, an orphaned girl, on their quest to kill the king. When players aren’t moving, time stands still and you are able to plan your next move. Meanwhile, if you aren’t fond of your latest outcome, you can rewind time and take a new approach. Like many stealth games, players can choose to not harm anyone or be a wake of destruction — or a fair mix of both.

Along with the announcement of release date and platforms, Frozenbyte let loose a set of screenshots and an announcement trailer (seen below).
