The next PlayStation Store update will see Persona 2 Eternal Punishment being released as a PSone Classic for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. This is a great chance for Persona fans to experience the second half of Persona 2 on the go.

Persona 2 Eternal Punishment puts players in control of Maya from the original game but in a different timeline from that of Persona 2 Innocent Sin. The demonic trickster, the Joker, has placed a curse that begins to turn rumors in to reality leading to several murders. Maya Amano is a reporter that is determined to discover what is going on.

Players will travel around to get to the bottom of the mystery and have to use their Personas, their other selves that give them the ability to fight demons, to stop Joker. The game features around eighty Personas that can provide abilities as they are leveled up alongside the party.

While it may not be the PSP remake of Eternal PunishmentPersona fans will still want to pick up this title when it hits the PlayStation Store during tomorrow’s update.
