As announced a while ago, today Cygames opened the Persona 5 crossover event in its popular mobile game Granblue Fantasy.

The event is particularly juicy because as usual Cygames isn’t doing things halfway. It comes with a full storyline, and fully voiced characters featuring Persona 5‘s original cast. Music and visuals from the game are also included.

Just by playing the event, you’ll also get a new SSR character, who is obviously Joker himself. Speaking of Joker, the event calls him explicitly “Ren Amamiya,” which is the canon name which appears in the anime series.  Sorry, Akira Kurusu fans.

The story is set just after the Madarame arc of the game, which means that only Ren, Morgana, Ann, Ryuji, and Yusuke appear. Looks like fans of Makoto, Futaba, and Haru are gonna miss out this time around.

The event is going to continue until June 29th.

Granblue Fantasy is currently available only in Japan (but including an English localization) for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. We recently learned that it passed twenty million registered players. You can read how to install it and play in hour handy guide.

Cygames is also working on a rather impressive action-JRPG for PS4 codenamed Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link alongside the mysterious Project Awakening.
