The hotly-anticipated Persona 5 is just one week away and while many fans will be eagerly awaiting the game after pre-ordering the game months in advance, some fans may have lucked out and received the game for free after a previous mixup with Amazon.
According to some shared tweets on Twitter (via Wario64), some fans are lucking out with free copies of Persona 5 – Take Your Heart Premium Edition, after Amazon had mistakenly cancelled pre-orders from customers in the past few weeks due to them containing “dangerous goods.”
Specifically, several Twitter users have shared emails from Amazon explaining that after sending an “inaccurate message about the goods being considered dangerous” and cancelling pre-orders for the Take Your Heart Premium Edition, Amazon is making up for the “inconvenience” by offering customers the edition free of charge to those that had their initial orders cancelled.
Persona 5 is available now on PS4 and PS3 in Japan, and will be heading towards worldwide release on April 4th, 2017.
Remember when Amazon was canceling Persona 5 Take Your Heart Editions a week or two ago? They're giving it for free for inconvenience https://t.co/PxOn0hNgqU
