If there is anything that the Persona series has been known for, especially Persona 5, it's the series' penchant for flashy and stylish visuals. With the upcoming release of Persona 5 Royal in Japan, that love of stellar visuals is extending to a series of limited edition consoles and controllers to celebrate its launch.

During Tokyo Game Show 2019, Sony officially revealed a line of limited edition PS4 consoles and DualShock 4 controllers that will coincide with the release of Persona 5 Royal in Japan when it launches next month. Specifically, this will include two limited edition PS4 models and a PS4 Pro, along with two DualShock 4 controllers.

The 1TB PS4 Pro model comes in white and features special artwork of Joker and the Phantom Thieves on the top of the system, and also comes with a Morgana-themed white DualShock 4 controller. In addition to the console and controller, the system, which will retail for 44,980 yen, also includes a special cover art for Persona 5 Royal and a set of five Persona 5 postcards.

The two Limited Edition base PS4 systems for Persona 5 Royal are available in either white or black and feature artwork with either Morgana or Joker, with a corresponding DualShock 4 controller to go with them. Both PS4 systems also include the special cover art and Persona 5 Royal art prints, while purchasers can get either system in 500GB or 1TB configurations for 34,980 yen or 39,980 yen, respectively.

While the DualShock 4 controllers are included with the purchase of the systems, Sony detailed that the controllers will also be available for purchase individually for around 6,980 yen. A discount of 500 yen is also available when purchasing one of the Persona 5 Royal Limited Edition console bundles and an extra controller through the Sony Store.

Persona 5 Royal will release exclusively for PS4, with the game to arrive in Japan on October 31, 2019, followed by a western release in spring 2020. For a closer look at the limited edition PS4 consoles and DualShock 4 controllers coming to Japan, you can check out the images below:
