Persona 5 Royal Info Coming on August 30 with a New Event

The next Persona 5 Royal event will reveal new live gameplay and a new trailer.

Sega and Atlus announced a new Persona 5 Royal event is coming on August 30. The event will be held at Billboard Live Tokyo, from 20:00 to 21:20 JST (Click here for time conversions). The event will also be exclusively streamed on Abema Anime 2 and is region-locked. The event will be watchable for free on Abema TV for seven days once it ended, and then only members with a premium account will be able to watch it.

This new Persona 5 Royal event will include new information, new live gameplay, a new trailer, and a concert by Lyn.

A new visual showing Joker and the Phantom Thieves was revealed for the event. Though it’s not exactly brand new and reuses the new artwork made for Persona 5 Royal.

Atlus also announced that Persona 5 The Animation Proof of Justice OVA will be streamed on Abema TV right after this event. This OVA focusing on Joker and Goro is already available in the 11th DVD/Bluray of Persona 5 The Animation, released on May 2019 in Japan.

Besides new characters like Kasumi, Takuto and José, Persona 5 Royal has plenty of new gameplay elements, such as Morgana giving you additional time for night activities.

PS4 exclusive Persona 5 Royal launches on October 31 in Japan and in Spring 2020 in the west.
